The ‘All Island Inter School Quiz Competition’ organized by Ceylon Electricity Board, along with the Department of Education and Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation, is conducted with the intention of enriching the school children of Sri Lanka with knowledge. The competition is conducted in Sinhala and Tamil mediums. The third stage of the competition commenced in October 2018.
The Jaffna programmes of the Tamil medium competition, were held on 6th – 7th February 2019 under two sessions. The first session was held in Delft island on 6th February 2019 with the participation of students from three schools, while the second session was held in Chavakachcheri, Jaffna with the participation of students from ten schools. The competition conducted under the enthusiasm and excitement of the students, was an ultimate success. Many CEB officials participated in the quiz programme.
The third stage of the competition is sceduled to conclude in November, 2019.
