It is required to submit type test reports for the materials offered in tenders of CEB Distribution Divisions.

As per the latest specifications,

“Bidders can provide Type Test reports issued by either

(a) An accredited independent testing laboratory acceptable to the CEB or

(b) An accredited or independent testing laboratory acceptable to the CEB where the Type Test have been witnessed by CEB or a reputed independent body acceptable to CEB”

From January 01, 2027, onwards, CEB will only accept Type Test reports from accredited independent testing laboratories (criteria (a) above). Until such time, manufacturers may offer Type Test reports issued by accredited or independent testing laboratories acceptable to the CEB where the Type Tests have been witnessed by CEB or a reputed independent body acceptable to CEB (criteria (b) above).
